92nd Gordon Highlanders pre-1881 dirk

Item 2
92nd Gordon Highlanders pre 1881 dirk with etched blade showing 92nd, thistles, and Queen Victoria's cipher. The blade is pitted and there is no maker's information on the dirk. With no hallmarks, I believe this is heavy silver plate that shows no wear. The dirk was refurbished by James Allison of Glasgow in the early 1990's. James Allison is the son of Robert Allison and may be the last maker of regimental dirks in Scotland.
